Fountain (1999)
The facade work Quelle (Fountain) quotes a nymph of the spring by Jean-Auguste Ingres (1780–1876), generally regarded as a symbol of a fertile life. Here, in a building occupied by a number of creative service providers, this abundance of life unites the idea of creativity, the inexhaustible source of ideas and inventions.
TRANSFORMER
Circuit structures surround the architecture and transform it visually and aesthetically into a kind of technical organism.
The sculptural image transforms the entire building and represents the digitalized working world. In the entrance zone, a corresponding photo image in concrete of two intertwined wrestlers is installed. They symbolize competition and communication and thus expand the spectrum of the working world represented by the conductor tracks.
